Lara began her yoga journey as an addition to her dance training. At that point, Lara used yoga strictly for the exercise aspect but as her practice deepened she discovered the vast amount of benefits that yoga has to offer. Over the years, yoga has become a tool for stress and mental clarity while completing her Bachelor’s degree in Fitness Management. Lara completed her 200-hour yoga alliance certification in Hatha yoga at Inner Balance Yoga, and is currently in graduate school to receive her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Her hope is to add the wide benefits of yoga to her clinical practice one day. In Lara’s classes, you can expect a lot of flowy movement, functionality, and great playlists! Previously a work/study participant at Pure Power Hot Yoga, Lara is excited to join the teaching team to help students grow within their yoga practices.
